i am now in the airport, waiting my flight to doha .. and i am asking myself: you will miss kuwait? you will miss the people in kuwait?
the answer is: absolutely, i will miss kuwait, and i will miss people in kuwait.

the last 30 days i decided to giveaway most of my things, and just sell just a few …

i used to do this usaully, but this time i was giving away everything because i am leaving kuwait.
so, start giving away some of my stuff, and:

me: this is a gift for you .. you can take it.
he: oh, thank you.
he: i want this one, i will buy it.
me: it’s not for sale, i am giving it away, you can take it.
he: no, i will buy it … hmmm, and i want to buy this also.
me: and this also .. it’s not for sale.
he: no, i want to buy it.

this conversation happened a lot .. in a different way, it was strange, i was giving some and receiving more … more than i expected.
i think this kind of “give and receive” is always happening in our life, but we just too busy to notice it .. i never notice it before, at least not like this time.
many people in this material world doesn’t believe in this, but it’s a standard formula, it’s in every religion, it’s in Quara’an …

give and receive ….. but, first you should believe.

and this guitar will be the last thing for sale … i will miss this guitar.

the last 30 days i met lots and lots of people .. strange 30 days, meeting new people everywhere i go, and all of them were really friendly. some times it was like “hi and bye” and most of the time with some interesting conversations.
and these 2 guys just came to me when i was doing a photoshoot, and said hi, and offer me some help and guidness .. and they were really helpful.

he: hi, you are a journalist?
me: no, i am not.
he II: in which newspaper you are working?
me: i am not a journalist.
they: hey hey, journalist.
me: i am not a journalist.
they: you are not a journalist!!
me: i am not a journalist.
she: hello, you are a journalist.
me: no, i am not a journalist!!
she: so why are you taking photos?
me: because i like taking photos.
she: so do you want take some shots of me?
me: i would love to.
she: but .. are you sure you are not a journalist!!

i met some of “al jazeera kids” channel staff, they were shooting for a program, i have to mention that they were so nice, friendly, and i enjoyed taking shots of them, the kids were funny … and the presenter [sahla] she was really cute, sweet, lovely person.

well, stayed just one day in Al Madina but it seems like much much more than one day.
then we went to mecca, and to be honest i didn’t like mecca .. but inside “AL Haram” was something else, seeing “Al Kaa’ba” and making “Tawaf” 7 times everytime i enter the “Haram” and praying there in front of “Al Kaa’ba” was like nothing else.
so you can say i spent 2 days inside the “Haram”, i didn’t want to go outside at all, i was just Praying, reading Qura’an, making Doa’a, making Tawaf and drinking Zamzam water and drinking and drinking and drinking :-)

in “Al Madina” i found 2 mosques i didn’t know that they exist:

Ali Bin Abi Taleb’s Mosque

beautiful mosque, and the simplicity of it’s design, ahh .. so modern, awesome.

and Abu Bakr Al Seddek’s Mosque

what can i say about this mosque .. majestic .. but, they just ignored it, it’s like the mosque does not exist .. buildings are 3 meters from it, surrounding it .. people are writing on it’s wall .. walls are falling dawn …
and still i can’t believe this.
sad but true.

in “Al Madina” i enjoyed watching people going to the mosque to pray, thousands of people walking on the clean streets going towards the mosque.

there is something different in this city, i don’t know … i was just enjoying every second, it was like i have nothing at all in my life to think about it .. praying, making doaa’, visiting Prophet Mohammad (peace upon him), walking, taking photos .. it was like i just borned, i was so fresh, so clean.
I miss Al Madina.
Al Madina .. it’s a beautiful city, really.

„ what i was doing the last 30 days .. I

went to saudi arabia by bus .. one day in “madina” and 2 days in “mecca”, which means i was doing “omra” :-)

what an interesting experience i had there .. what a peace of mind i had over there .. to be with people who just searching for ALLAH, for the mercy, for the power, for the guiding light …

people there just doing things for ALLAH sake, they giving money, food, water, perfumes.….., they help each other, they love each other .. just for the sake of ALLAH.
it’s a great feeling to be with people from all over the world but you still feel like you are with your family, with your brothers and sisters.
and the most great, amazing, relaxing, peaceful feeling i ever had is to be really .. close to ALLAH.

i didn’t post anything the last 30 days .. so what i was doing the last 30 days?
i went through lots of interesting things .. so the next posts will be about what i was doing the last 30 days.
i know, who cares about what i was doing!! but, at least i know there is few cares about the pictures i took ☺ .. so let’s start posting again.
